Being invited to share in and record such a joyous occasion as a wedding is always a special privilege. Looking through the camera lens and seeing the beauty and sincerity and joy and emotions gives me a special perspective. Fortunately, it is one I get to share, because with the click of the shutter it is captured forever.
Hiring a good wedding photographer means more than finding someone with good camera skills. That is a good starting place, but it is just as important to have someone who will make you feel at ease and add to the joy of the occasion with congeniality and good people skills. You need someone who gives the right amount of guidance without being pushy.
You can’t imagine how many times I’ve had someone in a group I’m photographing say to me “Where were you when we were getting married?” They then go on to share some story about their experience with their wedding photographer that will just make me cringe.
My business slogan is “A Great Experience makes Great Photos.” My goal is to make sure you get both. We all need income to survive, but exceeding people’s expectations is what really fulfills me. Please check out my unsolicited testimonials to see the feedback I have received over the years from delighted clients.
Engagement is a time when love is new and fresh, and everything is electric with anticipation and joy and passion and desire. That is why so many couples want to capture those feelings and emotions to remember for a lifetime. When the years have gone by, and the two of you have endured many storms, conquered great heights, shared many precious moments, rejoiced in your own special joys, and your love has grown deep and rich, you will look again at those photos, taken in simpler times, and be refreshed as you’re reminded of the simple joy of just being together.
So let’s have some fun together and capture some enduring memories of the beginning of your journey.
